“ This place is now called Samsa Express. New owner and new offerings, so Yelp needs to put up a new page for it because the old, negative reviews no longer apply. Tried their plov for take-out. Very tasty, generous portion, appears very authentic, good value. Highly recomend. ”
“ Best samsa in town. They don't warm them up in an microwave. They make them in a tandoor. Great flavor ”
“ So - very strange. Although they still seemed to be called "Turkish Express", there are no more kebabs or gyros, & they are now an Uzbek restaurant?! Although I was in the mood for kebabs, their food was great. I had a very warming beef soup, lebne (yogurt dip), & 2 big dumplings that were like knishes - one w/ spinach, & one w/ pumpkin. Their new Uzbek menu is here: https://www.uzbeksamarkand.com/menu Very friendly staff & nice location. "I'll be back." ”
“ Best Uzbek place on this side of Coney Island ave , soups are delicious , plov is authentic Uzbek and the samsa is made in a legit tandoor. ”
“ The best uzbek plov in Brooklyn , everybody should to taste it, and they have very delicious samsa, but size is small. ”
